Description

All aboard for New York with Train Sim World 4: LIRR Commuter! The Long Island Rail Road stretches east out of the bustling New York metropolis from 2 key terminals; Atlantic City and New York Penn. It’s easily North America’s busiest commuter railroad, with many services per hour, and the USA’s oldest, having been in continuous operation since 1834. Embark on a variety of passenger services across a new timetable with the LIRR’s all-new M9, and the staple M7. From the Big Apple, through the complex Jamacia station, and out onto the Long Beach and Hempstead lines, as well as the main line to Hicksville. The signalling has been completely reworked to offer a more authentic feel, and to unlock the potential of intense service patterns. The route features new volumetric skies, clouds, and fog, as well as snow and rain effects, bringing a new atmosphere to the city that never sleeps.
