Description

Please note: Train Sim World® 4: West Somerset Railway is required, as a separate purchase, to utilise the content featured in this add-on. The 1955 plan to modernise Britain’s railways set mass dieselisation in motion. The Southern Region, despite being largely electrified, still needed locomotives which could work away from the third rail. The Class 33, nicknamed “Crompton”, entered service from 1959. While not the largest loco on the rails, the reliable Sulzer engine packed a punch, propelling the loco up to 85mph. From widespread use across Southern England came keen enthusiasm, and no less than 29 would avoid the cutters torch. In Train Sim World 4, the Class 33 fits right at home on the West Somerset Railway, take to the rails and dazzle senses with Sulzer action! With the power of Free Roam, explore the World in Type 3 fashion, and put the Crompton to test however you desire.
